What is the difference between therapists and psychiatrists?
Therapists provide guidance and support talk therapy. They do not prescribe medications. Psychiatrists are medical doctors who primarily prescribe medication for the treatment of behavioral health conditions.
How do I know what type of help I need?
Our platform includes screenings to help you identify challenges you may be experiencing. These screenings can help you decide what to do and which type of professional to see. Once you complete the screening, you will see your results and recommendations.
Can I see someone if I'm in crisis or experience an emergency?
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Can I use this service through only text?
At this time we unfortunately only facilitate sessions through phone or video. We are working to bring text therapy out soon.
Can our Providers write ESA Letters?
This is entirely dependent on the provider and your situation.
How many sessions can I book per month?
We don’t have a limit on how many sessions you can book per month because sessions are based on provider availability. Our clients typically can expect 2 – 5 sessions per month depending on their need.
How long do sessions last?
Sessions can be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on your providers and your availability.
Can I speak with the same provider each time I have a visit?
Why should I choose online therapy?
Online therapy provides a way to access services when it’s not easy to find a therapist near you or when you just can’t fit therapy into your busy schedule.
Online visits allow you to see licensed providers from the comfort of your own home.
I currently have a prescription for medication. Can Rethink refill that?
An initial visit with a psychiatrist is necessary to determine how to best address your needs.
When can I talk to a provider?
Many providers have availability for appointments not only during daytime hours, but evenings and weekends too.
Once you choose a therapist, you can set an appointment with them directly at a time convenient for you.
Do you take Medicaid or Medicare?
At the moment we do not take these as payment methods. We are hoping to change that in the near future.
Do you take insurance?
At the moment we do not take insurance as payment methods. We believe that insurance gets in the middle of providing real care. That’s what why we made our prices as affordable as possible.
